About The Very Small Company
The Very Small Company is an independent micro business, run by a real person, and offering good old-fashioned service. My customers are very important to me, and I take pride in providing excellent customer service.
What do I sell?
Based in Derbyshire (UK) but shipping internationally, my online shop sells lots of my favourite things.
These include beads and jewellery-making supplies (including beautiful Fair Trade Karen Hill Tribe Silver), craft supplies (buttons, Injabulo buttons,ribbons, trims, bells, Tando Creative chipboard shapes, country craft supplies etc) and creative textile supplies (such as threads, fibres, inspiration packs, felting supplies, knitting needles).
As well as selling supplies, I make and sell handmade jewellery (some styles include my handmade lampwork beads), and handmade gifts. I generally sell these at craft and gift fairs, but if you would like an item making in a particular colour scheme please contact me.
Philosophy
As a keen crafter myself, I appreciate that sometimes you only want a few of something to complete a project, so my philosophy includes selling things in very small quantities.
Flexibility is key, so where possible, I also offer larger packs to give you more choice - but if you can't see a pack size that suits your needs, just drop me a line - I may be able to help (though I cannot supply wholesale quantities).
Stay in touch
I have over 1000 products on the site, with new goodies arriving regularly, so it's worth staying in touch and popping back regularly.

This business and my websites (http://www.theverysmallcompany.co.uk and http://www.hilltribesilver.co.uk) are owned and run by Julie E Kirk, a registered Sole Trader trading in the United Kingdom as The Very Small Company. I am also the owner of The Very Small Company Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom (but not currently trading),
Please note that companies or websites in other countries that may be using my trading name of "The Very Small Company" either offline or online with any other country (or other) suffix do so without my permission and have no connection with me; furthermore I am not responsible for any content or items offered for sale on such websites. This paragraph has been added for clarification in response to communications from persons overseas threatening to use my trading name overseas unless I purchase the relevant domains in their countries.
